There’s been a quiet transformation taking place in the historic Village of Pinehurst. It all started last summer and the big reveal is set for August 2019. What is it? It’s Pinehurst Resort’s latest renovation project taking place at The Manor Inn and we can hardly wait! Built in 1923 and just a short stroll from the heart of Pinehurst Village, The Manor Inn was rumored to be Arnold Palmer’s favorite hangout in his youth. Comprised of 42 guest suites the old place had the history and feel of a sportsman’s lodge.
Currently The Manor Inn is stripped down to its bones with walls, windows, plumbing, etc. all removed so the exciting renovation can begin. There will be newly designed guestrooms and common areas as well as a charming café’ and a handsome bar area. Giving a nod to Pinehurst’s Scottish golf roots and history is the Inn’s new interior design and décor. The sportsman’s feel and character will remain but with bit of added sophistication.
